Probably an unpopular opinion but I saw improvement. I saw decisiveness with the ball, less of locking on to one guy and the ability to recover from setbacks. Receivers also dropped some easy balls.

Flame away but I think he's on the right track.

wildly inconsistent, that has never changed and certainly didn't change last night. he makes some of the worst throws in Division 1-A. I mean that literally

His underwater basket weaving skills. What did you think this thread was about?

I noticed more of an improvement in play calling in terms of mixing in some intermediate routes. Harris was still off too often.

He needs to improve his mechanics/release, which will improve his accuracy on short/intermediate routes.

If he can help us convert 3rd and 5+ more often, we'll be very tough to beat.

I like the offense. Defense defined the majority of our problems this year.

you might be the only person in American that feels that way

He also makes some of the best. The 2 he dropped in to Dupre and Quinn's arms. The out to Diarse that got out there in a hurry. The kid has all the tools. People are really tough on him for some reason considering he's a first year starting sophomore.

He had a few inaccurate throws, but was definitely very good in the second half. He also had a ton of time. Tech's pass rush was non-existent. So sure there was improvement, but don't ignore the fact that he had a bad November.

He absolutely needs to work on a lot of things but I did see improvement in his poise. He was inconsistent and off but made plays to put the game away.

He hit several short passes yesterday. That had been a big issue for him this season

Not much IMO. His only improvement was a few screen passes, and the location and touch on those passes. Now the deep pass to Quinn was freaking beautiful, but he's always had a decent long ball. He was fortunate having #15's catch radius on some of his other throws, and admit he had a few drops that he did his job. He did run well, which has been a part of his game that he would use more in certain situations..

He still can't complete intermediate passing routes which at this point in his career he should be able to do with ease. For the life of me I don't understand why Miles can't develop a decent QB at LSU. Even Southeastern develops QB's better than LSU does.

We played Texas. fricking. Tech. Sam Houston State dropped 45 on that dumpster fire of a defense.

He made a couple of nice short throws. There was one easy drop and then the int too was a 50-50 ball. Nobody said he was Peyton Manning in his prime. I just said he's improving which he clearly is.

He had absolutely zero pressure on him. None... Which is fine with me. Definitely a good thing for him to go into the offseason with a confidence boost.

Agree with lack of pass rush but that was true in the a&am game too where he couldn't hit the side of a barn.
