Brandon Harris completed 13 of 22 (59.1%) for 254 yards (11.5 YPA!) 1 TD 1 INT and a QB Rating of 161.98.

Nice momentum to start the off-season.

He's going to have to become much more accurate if he wants to prevail in this upcoming quarterback competition.

Will you include this in your charts?

It is a bowl game after all, they don't count right?

right on, salviati, but once again stats don't tell the whole story.

he had totally lost his confidence after the overthrow to dupre and the interception. then he came back big time! I've been waiting for that. so glad that cam didn't give up on him, even with a lead.

Bowl games don't count?

Ohhhh . . . you're just being an a-hole.

Did you go to school to be an a-hole, or does it just come naturally for you?

If I compare QBs or seasons, I will always try to use comparable stats. So, no I won't use this bowl game when comparing LSU QBs from different seasons.

He had a very efficient 1st half, then struggled mightily early in the 3rd, but recovered nicely to finish the game strong

I was worried that he would sink when he started struggling, but it was nice to see him recover

He played exponentially better in the 2nd half.

He made some very, very bad throws in the first half though. Glad to see he recomposed himself. Maybe Cam on the sidelines helped with that.

According to your charts...just trying to keep your logic straight

Translation: I won't use it if it doesn't fit my agenda. Don't forget SECCG too. Those aren't important for judging players.

And population and sample size be damned!

Good one. I didn't go to school for it, but I got certified in it along with a few stat certs too.

He was like 10/12 at halftime?

It was the early 3rd where he struggled

Bingo!

I'm not sure why we're even concerned how Harris played. He'll be a year older next year, so everything will be fine.

You keep comparing cupcakes to SEC games. That's rock solid analysis.

Good For You. I would never question your certification as an a-hole.

Now go take a stats class or two. It can only help.

TIL that TCU, WVU, Clemson, Iowa, Alabama, and UGA are cupcake games.

You essentially used 1 game for some seasons

You think they'll start with sample and population sizes? Wouldn't want to take 40+% from 1 report...

Agreed. Jeter and Dupre each had 2 drops. A poor throw to Quinn and Dupre. He short hopped one to Diarse, I believe. Had the int. I think LF7 also had a drop on a screen pass. I thought he played well.

He also (for some reason) tried to jam a ball in to Foster Moreau that should have been an interception on our first drive. WTF is Miles' obsession with plays designed to get that stiff the ball?
