Both at a local Duck Commander Youth Football Clinic as volunteer coaches to 400 local kids!

Wow these 2 you men are class acts even before they touch the field in TS.

Harris: "I wasn't very athletic when I was in 7th grade....but you have to work hard and make good grades!"

"I can see an athletic dude and he can be the best player, but if he didn't make good grades, he's not going to college."

Fournette: "Harris kept bugging me to go to LSU....and I made a great choice to go to a great school.
Just remember to keep God first and say your prayers every night!"

No Shady's for these two!!!

Everything is better with a link. LINK

Impressed that Fournette would drive all the way up to Shreveport.

The 2013 class is going to be the best that LSU has ever had when all is said and done. Not just on the field, but off of it as well. All the guys seem to have a good head on their shoulders.

I saw this on someone's FB page yesterday and commented the same thing about these two young men. Very impressive for two incoming freshmen to go across the state for this event.

He might be but I'm fairly certain we won't hear about it on the 10 o'clock news.

Lots of players do volunteer gigs in front of the cameras and it doesn't mean they are wonderful people on the weekends.

They have been class acts long before they were tigers. They will do great things in life as tigers and after. Great role models have molded these young men. It's impressive to see. We re lucky to have them

So nice to see elite recruits who are high character young men that give back to the community, I'm proud to have them representing LSU.

Why not? I had a great time at bars (including Shady's) when I was in college, and I didn't get arrested once. The baseball team lives in Tigerland.

I hope these kids go out, have a good time, stay safe, and give em' hell on Saturdays.

“It was one of the hardest choices I’ve ever had to make,” Fournette said about choosing between LSU and Alabama. “(Harris) kept bugging me to go to LSU ... and I made a great choice to go to a great school."

Was it really that difficult of a choice? Thought everyone felt he was an LSU lock from day 1.
