Fair question

Dumb question is more like it.

Jennings won back-up in the spring. Keep the back-up role in fall practice. Maintained the back-up role though 12 games of the season. Lead a 99 yard TD drive to win 12th game.

After all that, you have to be retarded to think Rivers gave us a better chance in the bowl game.

All that proves is that AJ is a good backup QB.

You realize that it was Jennings' first ever start as a true freshman against a top 10 scoring and passing defense for Iowa. Not only was that the case, the conditions were terrible and he never really had an opportunity to get into a rhythm throwing the football. What the frick are you people expecting? People wonder why players from Louisiana are starting to shy away from playing here... If a player has one game where they don't look like a NFL pro bowler half of our fan base starts calling for their head. Some of you are frickin crazy and your expectations are absolutely retarded.

In case nobody else noticed, LSU's gameplan was incredibly vanilla.

Now when have I heard that argument before?

Spare me the bullshite about the secret playbook but it was obvious Les was doing this because he knows he opens against a top 25 team next year.

That's the whole point, dummy.

What---you wanted to go with the 3rd team guy too over the 2nd team guy?

Only the coaches know, but it's baffling.

Why is this "baffling"? What have YOU personally seen out of Rivers that would have given us a better chance to win the game that we did already win? Or is this just something you pulled out of thin air to bitch about?

Practice reps?
According to the Rant any practice reps or in game snaps against ANY opponent are worthless.

We expect our freshman to come in and start right away with no college or SEC game experience of any kind as it does you no good at all anyway. You win on raw talent not on experience or training.
