First, it wouldn't be so great if Les wasn't so scared of a TO after the '08 int-fest. We make it way too easy for Bama.
Second, O has changed nothing of substance on offense. And it shows in the games doesn't it?

Third, so it is patently false to say we're "doing whatever it takes to gain." No we're not.

Sure he has. We've started throwing the ball more.

we also didn’t turn the ball over 4 times.

Complain about losing?

We won in 2008.

Please keep pimping your moral victory.

I’ll take an ugly win over an ugly lose, and you’re the only moron trying to argue otherwise.

He hired (and is retaining) a failed OC who once again demonstrated why he no one wanted him as OC except Ed.

Did it matter that we "threw the ball more?" That got us zErO points. If anything we regressed. We scored 10 the year before.

Nothing of substance has changed since the Les era. We still stink it up vs Bama on offense.

Against a bad Troy team while being down 28 points, and only putting up 240 yards of offense.

The only reason we won in 2008 was Troy turnovers. The reason they won in 2008 was running all over us and LSU turnovers.

You seem proud of beating a bad Troy team while losing the statistical battle.

Miles didn't lose to troy, true. It's not because he didn't try his damndest.

It’s always better than the opposite

You’re of course ignoring turnover margin and Points scored.

Absolutely not. Turnovers killed us in 2018.

The offense put up over 420 yards, but had 4 turnovers

Troy had 206 yards rushing and won the possession game..

So we lost several key statistical battles, and the game.

Seems worse than losing yards but winning.

Hmmmmmm

Yeah, I think So.

Pretty fricking sad isn’t it?

Beyond sad.

Worse: totally unnecessary. LSU can compete with anyone as long as they get a competent offense. This isn't complicated. Convert more first downs and score more points: things other programs seem able to implement without much difficulty.

McNeese was 10-0 in regular season that year. Thank you, Mother Nature. That was a "Troy" in waiting. Oh yes, it was.

They played zero power five conference opponents. Their best win was maybe Southeastern Louisiana. They played the likes of incarnate word. They got their asses handed to them by Sam Houston State, A team from their own conference. No they were not Troy in waiting and did not go anywhere in their playoffs. Troy actually played decent opponents.

And finally, Miles never lost one out of conference opponent at home and the only one he lost to was in 2016 at Wisconsin during the regular season. So now Miles doesn’t lose games to Mcneese state at LSU.

Miles record for wins against out of conference opponent is better than any coach I’ve ever seen.

And yes, I wanted him fired. You can’t compare what he did with what’s happening right now. He toast coached against much tougher competition year in and year out in the Southeastern conference. The conference has been down for the last 2+ years just look at the number of firings and new head coaches.

That was one of the worst games iv ever seen lsu play and they still almost won playing like straight dog shite. Troy was good that game and year better then we expected, I think troy and miss st game may have been needed for the to wake those sophmores on the team who thought they were lsu and gunna just win these games. Alexander, Lawrence kinda got beat up those games and after that they stepped up and played lot harder rest of year carrying over into 2018. Bad loss get it. Team got the fricking memo that forsure

You say Orgeron fans aren’t as knowledgeable, yet the Ohaters were the ones woefully off, predicting 6-6, 7-5 seasons for LSU in 2018. Care to revise your bullshite accusation?

Never directed that at you but there were plenty of supposedly knowledgeable Ohaters on the list.

Damn Roger. Why are you always so negative when if comes to all things (except o) LSU football related? Players, assistant coaches, ex-head coaches. They all get thrown under the bus.

The only time you're positive is when you're specifically talking about o and all the grand things he's accomplished, in your opinion.

Oh, and not that it matters, since it was over 10 years ago, but we gained 340 yards of offense in the 2008 Troy game. Not 240.

A big part of the pre-season predictions were based on the perception that Miami, Auburn, and Miss State would be very good. Turns out they lost 6, 5, and 5 games, respectively.

If I'd have known that, I'd have predicted 10-2.

Maybe your dumbest post ever.
Miles rallied LSU to win by 2 scores, the largest MoV over Troy in series history.
Orgeron is Mr. First Worst, 1st to lose to Troy, SEC aTm and the worst loss to State in series history.
