Are they considered GymCats? GymPussies? Or GymTigresses? Just wondering how to properly refer to them.

Its between OU, LSU, and Florida again.

Florida essentially returns everyone

OU loss some contributors like us

UCLA is always a hot mess under Val it seems, so much talent wasted

Seems these three recruit now at at a different level than everyone else. Alabama,Georgia, Utah and a few others are very good but not quite there. Time to get that title for
D D Breaux.

UCLA recruits insanely well but has had issues keeping the girls healthy and getting those 10 SV vaults. They are right on the cusp of challenging for the National title again but it seems the girls don't want it as bad as other teams and many are more interested in the celebrity aspect of being on UCLA's team and what all comes with that. Just rumors I have heard.

Thanks for the update. I don't see Priessman or Kelly in the beam lineup other than to step in or exhibition. Edney and Li are experiences and have gone 9.9 They can easily step in for Gnat and Ewing and outscore Priessman and Kelly every time if they go clean.

Vault sounds great. Desiderio is going to be an amazing addition, especially FX. She has always been world class on that event. Bars should be just as strong or stronger, we lost one routine and Zamardi couldn't stick dismounts. I was hoping Harrold would shorten her routine. I thought she might keep the Zucchold since it is kind of her move but I am sure they realize it isn't worth the deductios. I wish she would learn a new dismount with a higher stick chance. Clark doesn't seem good at teaching forward flipping dismounts.

Spot on, its been like this for years now with them. Zero desire to win it all, between the coaches and heading to every award show.

Sydney can be replaced, I always found her a bit inconsistent on beam. Li can put up nice scores with consistency. The last beam spot will be between Campbell, Desiderio, and Dean. Desiderio is actually fantastic on beam, she had a lot of success at the elite level on it.

As far as Ruby, her Zucchold is fine, what kills her is her opening transition, and the hand stand right into the dismount (which she literally never landed in elite)

I like Clark but jesus christ, he can't be this dumb. Ruby has done other dismounts before. The one she does now automatically incurs a .05 or .10 deduction minimum on the dismount. Its infuriating to see it continued to be used. You are literally starting with a 9.900 before she starts.

Ruby needs to water out the routine, stop with the difficulty. She does enough of it. OU does extremely basic routines for a reason. Bars especially is an area where you don't want to mess around with the difficulty. having two transitions is way too much, you are asking for a deduction. I'll be honest, I like Clark but in terms of bar workers and development, he is pretty average. Clark is the Nick Saban of recruiting in college gymnastics. The talent level being brought in now is what is allowing LSU to reach this level.

You look at Vault with Bob, he actually does a nice job developing vaulters. Ruby's form looks much better right now. Her knees are straight after the round off. He is good with developing form. Watch Ruby's form at the elite level verses now, its a big difference.

The one thing I hated with Ruby's coaches is they ignored technique and execution. All they did was shove ridiculous difficult skills down her throat and hope she would outscore people. A lot of people were turned off by her bars in the elite level because of the ridiculous amount of form breaks.

Its always been puzzling why they continue to push for difficulty in routines, especially floor. I am no expert but it seems Oklahoma just does some bread and butter things very well and LSU is putting on a show, yet get hit for minor things without benefiting from the difficulty factor.

I don't mind the difficulty if they can consistently do it,

Sometimes judges can be nicer when they see routines above and beyond what is required. What kills me if we have weak spots on bars and they are never addressed

Bars has been their achilles heel at times. Hope they recruited to create depth and consistency there
