Much like TM7, the guy has fluid movement. He can stop on a dime and make five guys miss. I see times we will be down by 10 this year and an explosive play puts the momentum to us.

Guice will be a star this year.

This is sort of true, but largely dependent on Fournette. If he gets his numbers, Guice will be able to really tear off some big plays against a tired defense.

I don't buy the "Guice is as good as Fournette" thing, but I also see very little drop off. A worn down defense facing a guy that's very nearly as good as Fournette is a pretty exciting thought.

Agree. Watching last seasons games you could tell he's special. Not just the "Kenny Hilliard looks good!" special, or "Wow, Terrance MaGee can fill in for Jeremy Hill no doubt!" special. He legitimately looks like a freakish, total package, start anywhere stud. He averaged, what? 8.5 ypc last year? It wasnt that small of a sample size either. 51 carries, and more than a few were eye popping Sportscenter top ten plays. Add in his kick returns that showcased his speed, quicks, and stubborn refusal to go down, and Christ I'm ready for the season to start.

I just hope to see more packages with him and Fournette on the field together.

Cal vs Hawaii on Friday. It's not much, but it'll take the edge off until we beat Wisconsin.

Me too. Especially if that package contained instances where they both split out wide. Talk about fricking nightmare matchups for linebackers.

The difference is minimal between the two. LF7 is a little more of a truck style RB who can be very mobile, but generally, he will just run you over like a truck. Guice is the other way around. He is a very nimble and quick RB who doesn't have the pure brute force of Fournette, but could still truck some people.

Both are exceptional RBs and we should be very happy we have them both.

I hope we see a lot of them in the backfield together this year. Putting them on either side of Harris in the Gun would give DCs waking up in the middle of the night fits. Remember the damage that McFadden, Jones, and Hillis in the backfield together in 2007? Our versatility at QB and RB is on that level with all three of them on the field together.
