Shout out to New Hampshire gymnasts tonight. Though clearly outmatched and probably a little intimidated by such a huge crowd they performed with a lot of heart. It was also impressive to see them watching and actually cheering on Sydney and Bugs as they performed their final floor routines in the PMAC. Great show of respect for two of the best in Tiger history.

Was tonight the gymnastics version of a rent-a-win? OOC game after the SEC schedule and before SEC tourny?

Eh, in a way. There's a pretty big talent gap between the two but the competitiveness really isn't there. Win/loss record doesn't matter nationally; it's just your average score that counts. Now that the SEC has a regular season championship, head-to-head now matters in conference meets, however.

More like Harlem Globetrotters and Washington Generals. It was refreshing to see such a display of respect for the All American gymnasts they were competing with. Wish those UNH girls all the best as they move through regionals.

We cheered for their girls too. This was a tune-up for us and a big stage exhibition for them. Both teams very pleasant to each other. Was great meet to be at.

Yep I always cheer for the opposing team too. Obviously not as loud, but I do cheer.
