I believe LSU can win this game if we clean up our weaknesses in the secondary and special teams as well as refrain from committing dumb penalties. Ridley is just as, if not more, dangerous than Henry. Our DBs have not provided stellar coverage this season. Our punter and kicker have not done us any favors with shanked punts and kickoffs OOB. We cannot give them great starting field position or we'll pay the price.

I am not worried about our guys in the trenches, and I think Harris will surprise a lot of people because they'll actually watch him play instead of listening to the pundits.

That's the statement I made about the game when guys at work asked me about it. You seem easily impressed. I'm a woman and no pics or sammiches.

It's adorable to me when women talk sports. I like it.

Hell yeah! Like the new Nissan commercial where the girl was telling her date what she thought about the team and surprised him by taking him to the game on their date. Perfect woman. My wife knows football and she gets in to the game just as much as I do.

I was honestly thinking how awful that commercial was when I saw this thread. I would instantly want her to be quiet

I certainly wouldn't invite them to talk to me about it

I only think it's acceptable coming from Molly McGrath

I just wish my wife would watch an LSU football game with me. It's interesting to note that my wife is from Louisiana and "claims" to be an LSU fan, but won't watch a game with me. I'm from south MS, and have been an LSU fan since I was 11 years old (after my uncle took me to watch Pistol Pete play) and bleed purple and gold. I've always wished for a wife who loved football, especially LSU, as much as I do, but unfortunately, that didn't happen, so I guess I'll have to settle for my second favorite sport with my gal.

Personally, if the general level of football knowledge and quality of discussion on the Rant is anything to go by, I have a hard time understanding why you'd want to talk sports with most men as well.

I don't like talking sports with a lot of guys...generally I don't like talking sports with anyone that likes to pretend they know what they are talking about...you can generally tell if they are regurgitating internet fodder as well

I have no issue speaking with men or women about sports if they don't know much when they acknowledge their limited knowledge

It's the pretending to know that bothers me and thinking people are too stupid to tell

My wife doesn't care about LSU sports, Cajun girl has two degrees from USL, but since we've moved here, she has a hatred for Alabama. I cant explain it, but she wants to know if bama has lost. This game means a lot to her, but I cant explain why. I think its because there are so many women here who are poser Bama fans.

lol, god love her, we dont talk sports.

The last time I checked, people don't think with their genitals. A woman with a high IQ who loved her daddy and was raised on LSU football and hunting because that is what he loved can hold her own, thank you!
