Was posted in the Times Picayune today originally written for The NY Times. Talks about segregation in Shreveport during the 60's, the paths the two players took, and how they ended up back together again. Good stuff! LINK

There is probably a good story here but the article is not very well written. I would like to hear more maybe from a local source. Anyway, best of luck to both of them. They seem like good people.

I'd say it didn't really talk about any of that. It touched on those things, but really I just read an article about nothing.

Harris was a mean mofo back in the day, you wouldn't want to make eye contact with him at all, he might not be in a cheerful mood and decide to gouge your eyes out and skull frick you, without breaking stride while walking across the quad

Mike is the older brother of my best friend. Big time party guy that totally turned his life around after closing his practice. Does a lot of great work today in helping people in need.

If this is the case then he's come an even longer way back then the article implies- maybe a Rusty Domingue type epiphany!
