This assumes the PMAC will always be the place LSU plays basketball in.

Statues can be moved. New buildings can have the same name as an old one.

Jindal also didn't write our state's constitution.

He's far from perfect and his pandering to the ignorant idiots of this state is annoying, but a lot of the anger people throw on him is misplaced.

Something he could've worked to fix. Problem is he's too busy with other bullshite to actually try to fix the state's real problems.

That should have happened years ago.

Not saying this is not a worthy cause. Pete Maravich should have a statue at LSU but are these the type of things Bobby Jindal should be worrying about right now. I assume there are more pressing issues in Louisiana that the governor needs to tackle than a statue in front of the PMAC.

I'm far from a fan of Bobby, but I'm sure he's capable of holding multiple thoughts at the same time.

It's just funny to me how much I feel that the government should have nothing to do with this. Whatever.

I think his statue should be outside of Parker Coliseum, where he actually played.

You'd think half the people on here don't even follow LSU sports.

Serious question. I haven't lived in Louisiana for pretty much all of the Jindal administration. But I've heard grumblings here and there that he's been instrumental in defunding higher education, not just at smaller schools but at LSU as well. If this is true, isn't it kind of a douche move to take money from a school then send it a letter asking why it hasn't spent money on a project like this? Again, i'm not up to speed on Louisiana politics so I may be speaking out of turn.

Anways, I'm for a statue nonetheless.
