To the Arkansas game. Its been almost 40 years since I have been to an LSU game. Want to see Mike's habitat. What other recommendations would ya'll make for that afternoon?

Also, where would you recommend parking. Thanks

if you get there before 11 you can probably park in the lot by Kirby Smith.

Wow. Have fun man. Definitely watch the team walk down Victory Hill into the Stadium, then go into the stadium pretty early to watch the warmups and really soak up the stadium atmosphere.

too bad you have to go to the game where they're gonna showcase an atrocity of an LSU uniform...other than that it should be a fantastic experience for you

It'll be about 4:15, like it has been for 6 o'clock games. We'll step off at about 4:05 or a little after and we make it to the hill at about 4:15.

Yeah make plans to be around Mike's habitat, between the Stadium and the PMAC, a little before 4 o clock. You can check that out, then hang around because the team walks into the stadium just across the street from there.

Have you not been to a game in 40 years, or have not been ON CAMPUS in 40 years? Cause man, you're going to have a lot of changes to soak in if you haven't been to campus in 40 years.

Based on a 6:00 kickoff.....

3:30 p.m. All remaining gates open at Tiger Stadium
3:55 p.m. LSU walks down “Victory Hill”
4:10 p.m. Mike VI and LSU band march down Victory Hill

My opinion for that gam, holiday weekend, no students on campus you will be able to park at or near Kirby Smith dorm as late as 2:30.

Since you haven't been there in 40 years, you would probably know the route as "North Stadium Drive". It is still called that officially, but they also started calling the hill overlooking Death Valley as "Victory Hill" in the early 1990s when Curley Hallman was coach. Hallman would lead the players (and then a little while later the band would march) past the Indian Mounds and down the hill along North Stadium Drive into the valley, and finally into stadium.
