Good words about Bregman

This was part of a CNN.com article on 3rd basemen:
11. Alex Bregman, Houston Astros
21 of 31
Gail Burton/Associated Press
Age: 22
2016 Offensive: .264 BA, .791 OPS, 53 H, 24 XBH (8 HR), 34 RBI, 31 R
2016 Defensive: 5 DRS, -5.1 UZR/150, -0.7 DEF
WAR: 1.8
Player Outlook
Alex Bregman started his MLB career with a thud.
The No. 2 overall pick in the 2015 draft raced through the minors to earn a second-half promotion, but he stumbled to a 2-for-38 (.053 BA) start upon arriving in Houston.
A 3-for-5 performance on Aug. 6 that included his first extra-base hit proved to be a turning point.
He went on to hit .313/.354/.577 with 13 doubles, eight home runs and 34 RBI in 175 plate appearances over his final 39 games.
That impressive performance at the plate came while he was making the transition from shortstop to third base defensively, as he's firmly blocked at his natural position by another up-and-coming superstar in Carlos Correa.
Bregman still has a lot to prove, but his upside is undeniable.

2-10 and LSU fans would have wanted him benched never to see the field again

That's because many fans dont know how baseball really works.
You get a lot of people who come in and relate baseball to football.
I hope they stick around and support Tiger Baseball, but if you have never been around/played baseball its not easy to realize that a hitting slump is not an "if" but a "when". This happens in football but it usually lasts a half not 2 weeks.

Looks like somebody is mad that he didn't go to Mcneese.

I did go to McNeese. I've also taken some post-grad supplemental classes through LSU, and have been a life-long LSU fan.
Also, it was a joke.

I was there for many of his games during that time and he knocked the crap out of the ball like against NYY. Hit it on the fence for nearly a grand slam right center. It wasn't like he was stroking out during his ofer streak.
This is not like Adams and both catchers.
