To steal a line from Blind Side ... "Yo Deliverance" nice first post, you are probably right about the game. First half I would expect you to be in the lead, emotion all that good stuff, however we play 4 quarters in the SEC ... morale victories don't count for much. We will grind you down by the end of the game. I really don't care how many points we beat you by, one is good enough and then we will move on and play in the big boy league. We have one of the toughest schedules in the country. Our guys are up to it no matter what happens in WV. We are not Star Wars ... we are Swamp People, mean, nasty, real and proud of it.

It's a big home game for ya'll and that alone gives WVA some hope...but, your chances will greatly improve if your QB can manage to consistently line up over his center vs. the guard, just prior to the snap....LOL....sorry but that was HILARIOUS last year in Tiger stadium....still think your little big east stadium is more intimidating...????? I think that episode alone says NOOOO Way !

No matter how loud our croud is on Saturday all of you will say that it wasn't anything compared to your SEC opponents.

Holgorsen's offense is a sink or swim type of offense. Either we get into a rhythm and move the ball down the field, or a quick 3-and-out gives LSU the ball right back way too quickly... which allows you to grind it down the field and eat up some clock.
In reviewing last year's game, I tend to agree with your assessment of your offense. Ya'll had 3 very impressive drives against a good defense. The longest drive was 67 yards and yielded a missed FG. The other 2 drives were very efficent and scored 2 TDs (combined for almost 9 1/2 minutes of TOP). The other drives (excluding the end of 1st half, single play drive) - were all 3 or 4 plays, without exception.
We didn't do much better against your defense, with only 6 drives of 5 plays or more, and only 1 of those long drives scored any points, a FG.
This could be another defensive struggle, or, more accurately, our defense against your offense determining the outcome and final margin of victory - either way.

I'm not sold on your defense yet. Meaning, you haven't played a team that is going to throw 85% of the time.
Throwing 85% of time just means more opportunities to sack G. Smith. No running game will make the D-line & LBs lock on to the QB w/o no fear of being burned by draw plays.
Let me guess. You're still suspicious of that whole "nuclear fission leading to a weapon of mass destruction" scam, right?
