you might get better response if you put "san diego" in the title of your thread....

LSU Alumni San Diego

Maybe they'll have another football watch.

Your hotel doesn't have ESPNU?

Not sure, but don't want to watch in hotel if I don't have to.

Yeah, I watched the Kent State game in Gaslamp district in San Diego last year. It was a sports bar and I'm sorry I can't remember the name. I did a search on San Diego Downtown sports bars (staying downtown) and Yelp had them rated. Very satisfied with the place and there were a few others in the same area. And don't bet the ranch the hotel has ESPNU...they had ESPN, ESPN2, ESPN News, but not ESPNU.

Only place I know of is Kristys MVP Bar on Midway across the street from a pretty good strip club.

I used to go there but now I just go to my favorite dive bar and watch the games with some retired old timers from Texas.

agree with tigress...I travel a good bit for work and contacting the local alumni chapter has never failed me...they might not have an official watch party, but they can always tell you where the game will be shown....

Kristys MVP Bar

This is the place. Was in town and saw the Georgia game last year. Lots of fun. Lots of LSU fans and decor. If it's your first time Kristy spanks you with a paddle. You can't miss her

It's a pretty cool place even when they aren't showing LSU games. It was my go to bar back in 04 and 05. We used to watch MMA fights there and a few times some San Diego Gulls hockey players turned the reserved room into an after party/game spot. Good times.

Thanks for the info, it sounds like Kristys MVP Bar is the place to go.
