Good luck to the new Voice of the Tigers!

Along with all the usual excitement of Opening Day, there's also the anticipation of a new PBP announcer. Chris Blair has been in Baton Rouge since December, and has been active with things like interviews and NSD coverage since the bowl game, but tonight marks his first call at LSU. He's doing baseball this year, and will start calling football and basketball in the fall.

Edited, hopefully it clears up the confusion. He will be starting football with the 2016 season and basketball in 2016-17.

Looking forward to it. This guy is a pure pro. Once he gets used to the rosters and culture, he should be as good or better than any of his predecessors. Also, I prefer to listen to baseball on the radio as opposed to watching on TV.
