Golden Band From Tigerland

Just read in Advocate the band is not going to set on the sidelines but in regular seats. We should be able to hear them much better than 2007, and see my golden girls. Does anyone know what section the band is going to sit?

Umm... they weren't in seats in 2007? I could have sworn they were, but then again I was drinking. Also, went there for the Tulane game that year so maybe that is what I am thinking of...

I think they were in temporary seats on the field in early 2008

The BCS game and Sugar Bown game for the last 5 years have put the bands on chairs on the floor.

So they can only bring 285 members as opposed to the entire 325?

nah were bringing the whole band. we'll just have to squeeze in. we normally get 400 seats i believe

probably not. from the way i understand it ... and i could be very wrong ... is our seats come out of the LSU ticket allotment and so its whatever LSU wants to give us. whatever they give us is a seat that couldve been paid for that wasnt

Naw, it's full band...just 40 less band seats, so they'll be more squeezed than usual and probably a few less non band members in the "band party"
Now the question I have, as I have not seen it yet....have band members gotten the full schedule yet? Which band is doing pregame first?...LSU or bama?

I was just messing with y'all. Of course the full band is going. It's funny the paper needs to say it's the full band. It's the fricking national championship game.
