Going to Wisconsin without tickets.....

Wife and I used have our hotel, rental car, and flight booked. We don't have tickets. We decided if prices didn't drop to $200 each, we would just go have a great vacation and watch it at a bar.
I keep going back and fourth if it's crazy to go all the way up there and possibly not go to Lambeau field....but we also didn't go to the game in Houston and went to bar instead and had a blast!
Help a fan out Tiger fans.

We may never play in Lambeau again. I say frick it and buy tickets no matter how expensive.

Yea, I have feeling this is exactly what's going to happen when we get there. Cause that's s exactly why I didn't care about going to the game in Houston. I knew we would play there 20 times in the future.

Do it. It's not like buying a TV you find out you didn't need. I've found that I rarely regret paying for experiences. I'd rather spend some money to experience a once in a life time atmosphere than on something superficial. That's how I explain to my friends and parents why I'm willing to shell out a little bit of money to see my team play.

Unlikely they fall below $200 but the Packers owners have gotten theirs and there's a bunc on Stub for $100 or so more. Take the plunge. I can't imagine being in town and not seeing it live .

Dang man, I understand if money is tight, but if you're gonna go through all the trouble and expense to go up there, you might as well be willing to drop a few hundred more for tickets.

Well, we are not really dropping a lot of money. I used a lot of points for hotel, rental car, and flight. It's not costing us much at all.
However, we went to Europe for 2 weeks on vacation.... that wasn't exactly a cheap trip. (We are not OT rich) But I told her we could do Green Bay if I use all my points..... just don't feel like dropping $650 on tickets.

I've done this for sporting events, concerts, entertainment events, and even events where it was a premier and tickets weren't even sold to the gen pop, only given to businesses, groups, etc... and I have literally ALWAYS managed to find tickets for a good price, most of the time below face value. What do you do? just run around hollering "I need tickets?" I've never done this before but I know a lot of people that say they've never had an issue getting tickets this way. Just curious what your method is.

Go stand near the stadium with 2 fingers up. Often people with extra tickets hold them up too to show you what they have so I look for that too. I don't yell anything.

If you don't go to the game no biggy. Trust me there will be thousands of Tiger fans that won't be attending the game and just partying and hanging out around the stadium and in the bars. Will be a freaking awesome time either way!!

Yea, I thought about going to the stadium after tailgating a couple hours early trying to find some...that way if we don't find any,we still have time to get to a bar and watch it.
