Team bus typically is roped off now and fans are kept a distance from team when entering the stadium. Not sure of time, but usually around two hours before kick-off. You'll probably see a parents in their son's jerseys on the route. LSU locker room is at the south end of the stadium (opposite the new suites addition at north end).
Even though it'll likely be the pep band, it is still neat to watch the band enter the stadium to the drum beat. They will enter at the southeast corner near Sections 24 & 25.
MSU Union is pretty nice if you need some A/C, fast food, and want to watch TN-Florida game.

When I was 7 all I wanted to do was roll down the Indian mounds.
ETA: Of course this was for home games. I guess you could let him look at the cows before the game in Starkville.

have as much fun as you can in North Mississippi
any day you share with your 7 year old is a good day
I know he will love the bands and the bigness of it all

Just an FYI - this is wrong. Visitor locker room was moved under the new expansion, so it is on the North end now.
Safe travels to all Tiger fans.

He's not going like all those cowbells. Wouldn't blame him either

Bring ear plugs for your child. The cowbells could potentially hurt his hearing, enjoy the game

You do know this is in Starkville, right?

Take him to get some real ice cream at the dairy.

I wonder if holy cow will be available to view at the dairy?
It's a cow with a hole covered in glass where you can see it's stomach.
