The team thanks for your contribution to crowd noise in the Stadium, which can make a difference on big plays and big games. Hollering at your 50 " must give you such a thrill.

Yep I did give my tickets up. I can go to a game for way less than what I was paying for tickets, so that was a no brainier (when going to every game was not an option)

I take it you do not have kids or you are not a good husband/father. Or maybe you are past all of that which makes it easier for you to go to the games. I am just taking a leave of absence from going to the games. Although I seriously doubt I will go to every game in a season ever again.

LSU/ Baton Rouge need to do something about parking and traffic, more and more long time season ticket holders I know are starting to reconsider getting them.

yep. make all parking spots on campus or the LSU area pay spots. no more people hogging free spots without game tix. However the traffic after games being as awful as it is seems to have no end especially with more people in the stadium next year. If they show up.

So you screaming your lungs out helped on the last drive against Bama last year? Please. You screaming in the stands only does so much. Maybe if you screamed a little bit louder the DBs would have magically gotten better

Ok, call me spoiled because I leave NO at 10:30 (4 hours before kickoff) and it takes me 3-1/2 hours to get to my parking spot. And 2 of those hours are spent in near standstill traffic on Burbank/Nicholson. Then even though I'd love to stay for the whole game I have to make sure I leave before most of the crowd leaves or it will take 1-2 hours just to get out of the parking lot.

Maybe I'm not a true fan because I don't enjoy going to the stadium for games enough to endure this non-sense.

You don't need to go to every game to be a fan.

At most colleges the game is the main attraction, thats why Penn St. had an electric atmosphere last night. I bet the tailgating scene wasn't anywhere close to what it was outside TS yesterday.

Fact is going to a LSU game is more than just the game. And it takes a really big game fro the game to overtake the whole tailgating/parting experience. That game will be A&M this year and was Bama last year.

Then why don't they go and buy tickets at the stadium. There are always tickets available now. I don't think there are as many people that would love to go as you think.

So crowd noise has never affected a play call at the line of scrimmage.

Can you possibly be that clueless?

It's way easier to stay home, not have to put up with the traffic, the lines to get in and out, the noise, the crowded rest rooms, the inadequate concession stands, the rain, the cold, the heat, and every other thing that makes the game day atmosphere exciting and rewarding.

Some are content to settle for less. I go to the games.

If they allowed alcohol sales in the stadium but banned alcohol consumption on campus-outside the stadium DURING THE GAME, would that fix the attendance problem?

My 2-bit observations, I am a die hard Tiger fan, but I wonder if the issues are:

1. As you get older, your priorities do change. For example, Friday night was, for a lot of high schools, first district game, so it made for a long day Friday to begin with;

2. For a lot of areas, it was opening day of hunting season, or youth hunts for the kids;

3. Festivals going on all over the state, requiring kids, parents, etc to man booths and/or participate;

4. Kids other extra-curriculars, ie travel softball/baseball, football etc.;

5. The overall cost/hassel of attending games, and for folks in a budget determining which ones to attend;

6. Day friggin games suck. Period.

7. CBS's fault, blame them for low attendance.

8. It is actually cheaper to build an outdoor kitchen/ man cave/ hunting camp etc., than buying season tickets.

Random thoughts, not saying I agree with the logic, but I am just putting in my 2-cents. Now I'll STFU. Geaux Tigers!

I am not that clueless but the crowd noise can only go so far. By your logic a road team would never win a game.

Where the hell are you people parking that it takes this long to get out of the parking lot?

Ugh yeah as in can really only go so far when the crowd stays their fat lazy asses home to watch the game on the tube. But apparently getting out 7 days a year is just so difficult for some to handle.

Well you go to the A&M game and be sure to scream as loud as you can when A&M has the ball so you can help stop JM.

Also don't forget to leave the milk and cookies out for Santa on Christmas Eve.
