I'd agree if this were during the summer or holidays. But not many people are at Disney right now so it shouldn't be too crowded there

It's honestly not a terrible idea to buy some liquor/beer and just post up in the hotel room to watch. At least you'll be in total control of your environment with minimal distractions

If I didn't have kids with me this is what I would do. I don't want to be stuck in a hotel room with a 2-year old screaming while I'm trying to watch the game.

Last question. Since ESPN club doesn't have many arcades I'm leaning towards something in downtown Disney so mini-me can go to LEGOLAND with big sister and mom. Any of those restaurants worth watching the game at?

Lots of construction going on there right now. I'm not sure what's available at the moment. There's plenty for them to do on the boardwalk. And it's just a short boat ride to Epcot or Holywood studios if they'd rather be in a park. It's going to be a late game so they may want to go back to the room before it's over anyway

ETA: actually, it's less than a 5 minute walk to Epcot's back gate by world showcase

This. We're going for the weekend and I was wanting to hit up the Irish Pub there but was told it's a zoo at the moment.

You can walk to the ESPN bar/restaurant located on the Boardwalk from EPCOT in about 8 minutes. The path to take goes along the canal between the Great Britain and France sections of EPCOT's "World Showcase." We just got back from Disney World on Sunday and we stayed at the Boardwalk Villas so I'm very familiar with walking to EPCOT from the Boardwalk area.

The cheese soup served at the kiosk in front of Canada was outstanding. The empanada's served in the Patagonia food area were also fantastic.

Wife found a top 10 food items to try link, and that cheese soup was on there.

I just need German beer, honestly.

Then you're in luck. Surprisingly, Germany has some beer in its section.

You sure there's not an ESPN Zone there anymore? I watched a game at the ESPN Zone on the Boardwalk a couple of years ago.

Not sure if it has been said, but there is an ESPN CLUB, not ESPN Zone.

Biggest difference is the Zone has video games and such, the club is just a restaurant and bar. And of course, a gift shop.

I like ESPN Club for a game, but it gets expensive.

If you want to buy beer and go back to your room and don't have a far, the yellow star below is a Hess Express station that has all your typical gas station type domestic beers.

It's about .25 mi from the front of the Boardwalk resort.

If you are going to Downtown Disney, Splitsville is a decent place to catch a game and House Of Blues has a really good Happy Hour from 3-5 and 10-close.

Remember, they are on Eastern Time, not centeral.

Put the family at EPCOT and walk through the international gateway to the ESPN Club. 10-15 min walk and you're there
