TLDR; Andy C coming back to the NCAA is inevitable. Why not hire him as an analyst/hitting coach under Godwin?

I’ve laughed at the thought of Canizaro becoming the next HC at LSU. But, at the same time, there’s just no way Canizaro can stay in the high school coaching ranks forever. At some point, he will be back in the SEC as an analyst/assistant coach. If we hire Godwin, we’ll still have enough leverage to make him a hitting coach/recruiting coordinator.

I truly believe with those two as coaches combined with the amount of talent this LSU team has we can win a natty within the next three years

Only problem I see is that Woodward might want the bad publicity to be someone else’s problem if a program hires him as an assistant

I’m fine with Godwin coaching hitting and bringing in a pitching coach and a recruiting coordinator.

Stop trying to make Cannizzaro a thing. He is not and never will be coming back to LSU.

I just don't see them letting Andy back in the program after what happened at Miss St and where our image stands as far as those kinds of things go.

And, I don't think Godwin would want to bring him in anyway. If, by some stretch, we were to hire Gautreau, I think he would be interested in Andy.

I'd be fine with Godwin. Maybe not a home run hire, but he's got a great shot to be.

Andy C can be the swinger coach or the slam-piece coach.

Godwin is a great hitting coach and recruiter. If he's hired he should hire assistants that fill his weaknesses.

If Andy is such a hot prospect why hasn't he been picked up as a hitting coach at another school by now?

I would love to have Godwin as HC but I wouldn’t want Cannizzaro anywhere near our players or program. He has proven he has loyalty to only himself. He was in that position before and the drama that followed isn’t worth the risk.

If the board rejected Sully, what would make anyone think that Cannizaro would be an option?

They would not work well together. AC wouldn’t be approved. Godwin would want his own staff.

Idk why I have to post obvious shite.

A high school coach has turned down several D1 opportunities?

I'm not saying he would.

Andy is a great collegiate coach.
