Is LSU turning into USC, Texas, and Miami? A loss in the national championship ruined each of these power house programs and they never recovered. Are the glory days of LSU football over? Did losing to Alabama in the title game put an end to LSU football?

I said this same thing Saturday night after the game and people on the Scoreboard just couldn't grasp it. Sometimes tRant is loaded with stupidity.

We have never recovered from 01/09/2012. Thank you Les Miles.

Every time people say this and 'blame Miles' the world losses an IQ point. Do you not realize Miles built that team that went undefeated through the season and won the SEC CG to earn the right to play in the NCG? You morons act like Miles came in and destroyed what was going on, forgetting that it was he who made it happen in the first place.

FFS we need to recruit smarter fans more than anything else.

Hey Roaring ease up. Miles had a great 2011 team. My point was "what did he do beginning with the 2012 season....down down down to where we are now. I am glad you love Miles so much

You'd rather be 1-2 with a loss to Maryland? Lmfao sorry but you're lying.

MadKing, I was happy with the fact Orgeron got the job. I am sorry he has to deal with the depleted roster Miles left him. I am tired of seeing former LSU players and recruits catching and throwing touchdown passes on TV every week. I don't mean the ones in the NFL either

It's ok to bring that shite up in the heat of the moment, I was horribly disappointed too.

But COME THE frick ON NOW- you're talking about losing in the national title game, something literally 99% of college programs would trade places to experience; and somehow comparing it to being skull-drug by a respectable but unranked Miss St team?

Yeah- Thanks, Les, for getting this program to 2 BCS Title games and winning one of them. That's a whole hell of a lot more than we will see this year.
