I'm not that worried about it. We just weren't good enough and this wasn't our year. The way it goes. Had We just finished strong last year this season would feel like lagniappe anyway.

So let me see if I can kind of summarize the whole premise of your thread. We are actually somehow better than the two teams we lost to, and now, those same teams would be "shaking in their boots" to play us again? And the reason for their fear is because of our stellar comeback victory against Ole Miss and "blowout" against Arkansas? Does that about sum it up?

The best team did win that one. LSU held Bama to under 100 rushing, out-rushed them by about 50 yards and reached the red zone three times (twice inside the 10) to Bama's one trip at the LSU 17. Time of possession was almost exactly even. Bama missed 13 74-yard FGs...I know.

No doubt about it, I'm sure thats exactly what he does. At the beginning of the week, he tells the team, "look guys, we aren't gonna practice hard or prepare very much for these guys this week, cause they aren't very good, so we'll be just fine winning by a field goal." Yep, I can hear him saying that now. Some of you people need to be examined.
i think it's a problem when a head coach barely gets by & he's going to smile & say what a game huh?
