Les has officially had more than enough fricking breaks. It is now time for him to hire a competent OC and keep his meddling arse out of his way. He needs to do what he does best, recruit and build relationships with players and players families.

The play call was genius - Mett executes a perfect bootleg, resulting in no pass rush as well as no one within 3-5 yards of Jarvis. Mett just simply did not execute on that play, period. On 3rd and 2, which we failed to pick up all game running the ball, we had to throw it.

Our execution on offense has been embarrassing all season long. Also, Mett is fricking terrible, why ask him to throw it two downs in a row with the game on the line? RUN THE BALL LSU, RUN THE BALL. It is all Les Miles fault.

And besides, who cares about running out the clock when we can roll the dice throwing passes. It certainly would not have mattered if we had forced Clemson to use all their timeouts.

Miles' offenses do not execute consistently enough to be even close to being effective.

8 three and outs. That is a failure to execute.

I actually liked the 2nd down call. The play was there, sadly it just wasn't executed. However, on 3rd down you do run, just to make them use the timeout if for no other reason.

yes, even though we probably don't pick up the 1st down with running the ball on that 3rd down play, I still would have ran it. The surprise factor of throwing the ball was used up by then with the throws on 1st and 2nd down.

Unless there's something I'm not aware of, Hill not having a touch in the 4th quarter is inexcusable.

I didn't realize that. There needs to be some explanation for not using our best and most reliable player at all in crunch time if this is indeed true.

Because you figure even Mett can hit a wide the frick open reciever 5 yards from him if he is even remotely worth a crap as a SEC QB. You have to have a little faith in your QB. Now people wonder why Miles runs a retarded offense. Look at the players he is dealing with.

The simple fact that the idiot lines up with two TE and a fullback on every short yardage play and can't figure out why the dive or toss off tackle gets stuffed is the point here. It's either his ego or his brain damage that's holding this team back. I got no problem running the ball all game if they would do it out of multiple formations with all his personel groupings.

The same people that he is supposed to be coaching. Like I said, the execution on offense has been an embarrassment all season. That is coaching. Mett is this bad because they have no idea what to do in practice to help him improve. Seriously, what are these idiots doing all week at practice?

consecutive run plays on 2nd and 3rd = alot of clock burned or 2 clemson timeouts burned.....

REGUARDLESS of the first down

just seems like a no brainer to me

All of the crap on this board is focusing on the last 2 plays of the drive, and our inability to gain 2 yards.

Dumbdick, we gained 1 yard in the 4th quarter. What the hell are you talking about?

Agreed if Mett makes a jr. high throw on 2nd and 2 LSU wins and the haters on this board or silenced. Bottom line les and OC gave the offense a chance to win and they did not get the job done. Coaching had nothing to do with this lost.

NO,, dont buy that break for a second....the Pass play should never have been called...just not a good percentage play at that critical time in the game...RUN..RUN...RUN>>> It runs time off the clock, puts pressure on Clemson, and probably would have won the game for us.........come on, Les would tell you the same thing..(i think)..

Do all the haters on here realize that LSU is only team in the nation that can go toe to toe with Alabama. And if any of you see Les miles in town or on campus kiss him in the mouth if you are a girl. LES IS MORE and don't ever forget that
fact, Saban can not even hold his jock.

In addition to your contradiction this is just stupid. It's 2nd and 2 when first downs are clock and time out killers, it's basically a no brainer to run it on 2nd and 2. If you don't pick it up, run it on 3rd and one. If you don't pick it up, then you punt.

I didn't even watch the end of the game and this is just indefensibly stupid
