A lot of plays from a lot of different type offenses get shut down by Bama.
Crazy how they're in the CFP every year.

Unless you're an up tempo spread team like Ole Miss or Clemson.

2014 Ole Miss points vs Bama 23

2015 Ole Miss points vs Bama 43

2016 Ole miss points vs Bama 43

2016 Clemson points vs Bama 40

2017 Clemson points vs Bama 35

You're right, the motion also makes lb or safety account for them which should help you run or if they don't respect the motion man then they'll come back to it later and score like we did on the sweep with Dylan. Game was a total fiasco, more discipline from players and better quit this bull about holding back the game plan. Show everything and make teams try to figure out when you're gonna run it. Defensively the more experienced players blew the coverages, that's pathetic.

Exceptional QBs, and don't overlook bama played more than 2 spread teams in the time frame you mention.

For having more variety of plays that yall guys aren't use to where the Offensive philosophy when les was at LSU the ball was being thrown to dupree and Dural

Instead they throw the ball to Russell Gage. What a brilliant offensive approach.

Some were good QBs, but I dont think Bo Wallace was very good and he TORCHED Bama.

The spread up tempo tends to make QBs look pretty damn good...what a nice idea, huh?

But nah, I guess we're all okay with year 10 of shite slow painful to watch offense.

If we're doomed to go 8-4 every year, the least we can do is make it look good damnit. I'd be a high scoring 50 points a game team that goes 8-4 than a team that goes 7-5 with a unbearable to watch offense.

LSU has all the talent in the world to make it work effectively, but for some reason there's an aversion towards it.

Plenty of shoddy QBs across CFB have been REALLY successful in up tempo spread.

Take Baker Mayfield for instance, from walk-on at Texas Tech to Heisman candidate on a top 5 team at OU. Interesting. His Tx Tech game got him the position at OU...

What kind of offense does Tx Tech run again?
