No different than any coach not being emotionally or psychologically in tune with their team in extreme stressful situations.
Some coaches just can't learn how to cope and their teams suffer. DD may be the worst I have ever seen.

I'm just mad she's saying in the post game interview that she based her beam lineup strictly on numbers. Hall has been shaky as hell all season. Lead off with someone else that can get the positive energy rolling. Even when hall has been "good" it's been tough to watch on beam

Tom Izzo's team this year was not as talented as Johnnie Jones'. Coaching does matter. There should be a seperate board for people who have never actually PLAYED sports.

They get to chose which kids are going to do each event. Half of the girls she put on beam basically fell off.
No way to really know, it's more of a feel for who she chose. She chose wrong on a couple and it cost Lsu advancing for the title after being top ranked at one point.

I hope that the softball team doesn't follow suit. Bama beat Auburn last night so we are now tied again for the SEC lead. We need to at least take 2 of 3 from the Aggies this weekend.
