What a major disappointment, really is. What a choke job, this team had the pieces to actually possibly win a title this year. I really wonder what DD tells her team before the beam or some of these events. The other coaches reactions told the story, I really don't blame them for being disgusted.
It doesn't make you a terrible fan either for saying that. It was a major choke job, half of rotation on beam fell. Just completely wiped out. I mean if they were below average we would have advanced. I do think DD deserves some criticism, her teams always seem to find a way to under achieve. I felt pretty damn confident after bars but they busted that bubble quickly

Bummer and sad for the ladies as they had a great year. Keep those chins up as you represented LSU very well in the top 5 through most of 2015.

Jeebus, what an epic choke job. DD's worst one. I like what she has done for the program, but considering the talent and expectations she has failed big time on the national stage way too much.

Pleading ignorance here... What exactly is a gymnastics coach to do in order to prevent her gymnasts from choking?

I'm sure the Lady Tigers are disappointed at finishing 5th, but I'm proud of them for representing Tiger Nation at the national level.

I mean its technically not her fault, but its her responsibility like any head coach to have them ready and to succeed. She will be given credit for success as she will be given criticism for failing. This isn't her first rodeo, this has been a consistent theme for DD

Honestly, Hall's leadoff 193.3 seemed to lead to an epic mental implosion. I didn't understand her starting Hall first anyways. start out with a bang and build confidence. Hall has been shaky all season

when it happens every fricking year, there's only one constant. you have to set up your team to perform, and it's clear she isn't doing that. frick, beam is the one damn apparatus she hands on coaches.

She's been coaching the team for something like 38 freaking years. It's time for her to move on and let Clark take over.

They've only had a team even approaching title level the last two years so putting all 38 without a title as epic choke job is complete bullshite.
