I've said it once and I'll say it again an LSU football player in the 80s was banging GG's girlfriend and GG walked in on it.

Another example of 'journalist' thinking they are the reason the press conference is being held.

And, the obligatory, GG is a douche.

ah, ok, so only 2 coaches in the modern history of college football have the 'right', in your mind, to correct a reporter asking potentially inflammatory questions.

classic tard.

Do you really hate Miles so much, or are you just looking for attention you didn't get from your parents?

Either way, you make me .

All this does is continue to strengthen Miles relationship with his players/future players.

100% accurate

Like when Gundy did his "I'm forty!" speech. All the writers pissed & moaned about how unprofessional it was, and how dare he etc etc. But he was sticking up for a player, and I guarantee you the players noticed that.

Gundy is essentially right that coaches are a grown, paid professional who are used to dealing with criticism. 18-21 year olds are not - they're not fully mature, and they're highly emotional. It's part of the coaches job to take on and deflect public criticism from the players towards the coach so that it doesn't affect the players. Miles is a freaking master at this.

STFU Guilblow, everybody is tired of your little horse & pony show. Your hooks don't work anymore,NOBODY reads you. Your Finebaum imitations don't work anymore. You are the only person that didn't like Les s Q&A session. That includes all schools, he didn't give the usual coach speak. He gave credit to Florida, someday gannett will wake up and your sports writer career will be gone . Like it hasn't alreadty

Will someone enlighten me? Who is GG, and why, if he is a LA sportswriter, does he seem to be so anti-LSU? Is he gay or something?

No, what I'm saying is that I would gladly dismiss the stupid press conferences, whether it be Saban's dictator style or Miles' quirky rants, if we were winning National Championships. But we're not, so the crazy press conferences Miles has had the last few years just makes him look silly.

Well he does have a man crush on Saban, its the same hooks he has been using for years. It also seems he uses little gigs that may somehow,in his mind, have a negative affect on LSU recruiting. Like Saban never gets a little over passionate, actually hateful. I was glad to hear it coming from Les, if anything I thought he needed to be a little more passionate. He also was winking and kidding around after his nail and hammer comments, I loved the,we found the secret, raise your hands all the way up joke, at that point he was obviously having fun.
