slowly, but surely, you are trying to create distance from the Tigerdroppings brand to the future branding. I guess that makes some sense, but TD is the gravy train.

Amirite?

TD is golden and is well known in the sports website realm. It isn't going anywhere and we will continue to expand it.

Geaux is a separate brand and will focus more on the gulf south (Houston to New Orleans and beyond)...at least that is what the venture capitalists told us to do...

Can we have animated avatars on geaux.com, like certain privileged people?

Maybe call it Bleauxs.com.....

Just playing, looks good to me and sounds like an improvement. At the very least, hold on to the domain name.

Can the classified section include a personals category ala Craigslist? I know a few posters who could benefit from that.

I think if a goal is to promote the Dining Guides, you might consider putting the FDB on the first page somewhere other than in a drop down box.

On TD, why is the dining guide in the left hand column underneat "LSU Sites"? Is it considered an LSU site?

When I first saw the ad for the Dining Guide on the left lower side, I thought it was an ad for shoes and almost didn't read it except that I was scoping the entire page. I get the feet and the address thing, but there's something unappealing about looking at toes when thinking about going out to eat dinner.

The colors are a bit drab, though I have no suggestion at this time. They're not eye grabbing.

SUGGESTION: Once a user goes from GEAUX.com to TD, you may want to make the method by which the user returns to GEAUX as similar to the way over to TD. That is, put the GEAUX.com link up at the top left corner versus at the end of the ribbon.

Just a thought...no biggie.

I like where you are headed with this. ...and congrats!

Woody:

- The nav bar at the very top of the page will eventually make its way to the top of TD and SECR. When you are logged in, the "Account" link in the top right will contain a drop down with all the "My" links.

is that what you mean?

That's it. End result being it is easier to jump from one portal to another without searching the page for the button to get you there.

The color scheme does kinda suck though.

I feel like I'm looking at a government run website or shopping for trendy but affordable clothing (think GAP)

That's the feeling I got, as well. Maybe a bit more contrast would do the trick, but something needs to liven it up. I also thought of being in a doctor's waiting room. Those colors were used everywhere for a while, along with a mauve type color. Supposed to be passive and calming as I recall when we were doing our offices and talking with a designer. We went in another direction.
