Gary Danielson on Paul FineBaum - "Matchups that almost cancel each others out. Game will land on QB's lap for both teams."

And, therefore, our offensive line.

I agree with him indirectly. It will be which defense can force a turnover or 2. Could fall on the QB, or another skill player.

If Jim Hawthorne never needed bypass surgery and would be there, I hope this would be his call of the first offensive play:
"So, here we go. First and 10 at the LSU 25 yard line. Here's the snap, and Harris gives it to Fournette...no it's play action! Complete to Dupre at at the Alabama 40! Holy cow!"

I agree with Gary on this one - QB play will be the difference in this game.

And I like our chances with BH.

Pretty much my sentiments exactly. Two groups of grown men playing grown man football. Who wins? Would like to think its the team with the grownest of them all, that being LF. No way to know. I think the winner in this one comes down to breaks. Whoever gets the breaks wins. Bounce here or there. Big plays. LSU can't blow coverages and muff punts. Alabama better tackle 7 all the way to the ground. These teams play 10 times, each wins 5.

"So here we go, 1st and 10 LSU at their 25 yd line. Harris hand off to fournette, Oh, what a crushing block by Moore at the 30!! and he's loose...there goes fournette.30,20,10,5 Touchdown Tigers!!!
