Gameday Pay Parking

Gonna take advantage of the cheap tickets and take the girls to their first LSU football game on Saturday. Ages 6 and 9.
Usually for the 1-2 games I attend a year, I park in the free parking levee lot or hayfield lot.
All of us obviously want to see Mike VII before the game. However, we have a birthday party in BR earlier in the day which means we probably can't get on campus until around 4:30.
Was thinking see we want to see Mike, of maybe parking in the paid gameday lots on the north side of campus.
Would there likely be anything still available in that area at that time? Or am I better just parking by the levee and walking over past the stadium to the habitat?
Thanks.

If you want a guaranteed spot on campus -- pre-pay for the Garage over near Barns and Noble. Spots are "first come" -- but I *assume* LSU would not sell more spots than exist -- so if you have a pass for the garage, you should be able to get in and park at whatever time you want to arrive.
Only thing working against you for "drive up and park" for this game is that it's the home opener -- otherwise, interest (and number of people on campus) is low for this non-conference weaker opponent game.
Too bad you already bought tickets -- I bet you could get a set of 4 in good sideline seats very cheap or free if you brought your daughters out and held up fingers a little before game time.
