I took off Thursday to Monday to head to RoundRock, and didn't want to take Tues+Wednesday for a midweek game against those scrubs

The last 2 LSU baseball games I attended, the last game of the weekend series against Texas in 2019 and last Saturday at Dell Diamond against Iowa.
Both were loses, so I’ll be watching from home to help out the team.

Austin is a cool town to spend a weekend but it’s got absolutely nothing to do with the school and their sports.

I genuinely did not enjoy the LSU game there in 2019. I’m used to the whole city basically shutting down and catering to the Gameday. For a LSU game You can sense that as soon as you cross the MSR on I-10. In Austin the only place you feel that is right by campus. As soon as you leave that area you would never know a huge Cfb game was going on right around the corner. It’s weak.

Got my fill this past weekend.

It’s a burgeoning city with a metro population of 2.1 million people.

Did you really expect it to have a small town college feel to it like an Oxford, Stillwater, Charlottesville or Ann Arbor?

Way to take it out of context to fit your response. I clearly said not far from campus you couldn’t even tell a major game was going on. I didn’t say I was expecting a rapid environment at zilker park across town. Also did you really just throw Charlottesville in the same company as the others above? You don’t know shite about CFB.

How preposterous is that?

Thanks for the insult. I hope you enjoyed our anonymous message board discussion as much as I did.

Austin isn’t really a big college baseball town like BR Oxford or Starkville. Especially for a Tuesday. I wouldn’t expect much.
