Agreed it didn't happen, I was in there very early. However, they did warm up on our side as I mentioned in a previous thread. LINK

They did begin to warm up on our side of the 50 near their bench and were staring down a few LSU guys from only a few feet away. The officials had to step in and send them back across the fifty.

I guess they were too naive to know that intimidation tactics do not work against the Tigers in Tiger Stadium.

I remember Jabar Gaffney taunting the student section in 01 about an hour and a half before game time. He and Grossman proceeded to light us up that day.

I, along with a bunch of other students, we're in the stadium at 4:30 and never saw that. The USCe players were warming up on our side, and they were walking through our cheerleaders warmup trying to intimidate them I guess?

That was a big difference then - it was Florida. I'm not saying it's impossible but don't come into TS when you've never won more than a bowl game championship in your team's recent history and expect the Tigers to be intimidated.

To USCe's credit they did go straight to their bench when they first came in. But then they crossed the 50 purposely for warm-ups.

"That's good enough for me. That's all I wanted. "You don't have any idea how much that means to me, to walk around and say the one time we met up, when y'all were number three, I whooped y'all. That's when I'm an old man rocking on the porch, sitting back talking. They can't say nothing. It's about that state pride."
