is game on direct tv tonight. I was looking through menu and didn't see game listed

it amazes me that we have all this technology and a web browser that will answer any question you need. We still have people asking this question

You can access the Watch ESPN app via internet connected Directv receivers now.

Correct. If you have your DirecTV box hooked to internet through your wifi or otherwise, go to the SEC Network channel (611 here), give it a few seconds to settle in, and it will pop up a box to prompt you to hit the red button on the remote if you want to access WatchESPN.
It kept going in and out of HD last time I did it, so I went back to trusty AppleTV device to access WatchESPN.

Go to an ESPN channel and wait. The icon telling you to press the red button should pop up.

ESPN App is only on Directv HR-44 Genies or higher # models. I can't get it on my HR-34 Genie.

I have DirecTV. I have been able to get to SECN+ by tuning to any of the ESPN channels. Just tune and wait until the pop-up message telling you to press the red button on your remote. This gives you access to the "ESPN App", which is a way to access "WatchESPN" without using your computer. Yes, you have to have your DirecTV connected to the internet. DirecTV seems to have problems at times and the "ESPN App" pop-up doesn't happen. If it doesn't appear, pressing the red button on your remote doesn't work. In my experience, the quality is better than viewing on your computer if you are able to access it.

Ok how about this prob tech guys. I can catch all channels on watchespn on my phone but on my iPad some channels including LSU's game last night wouldn't let me. Would give me a message saying I didn't have authorization. Any clue why that would happen?

figured it out it has to be the tv on the main box not one of the satellites
