Same shite team. Disappointment after disappointment after fricking disappointment. Tired of seeing no progress with this program.

It will never end. LSU basketball is dead. Gone forever. Forget EVER having a good basketball team again. LSU doesn't even WANT to have a good basketball program, and it's hard enough even for the schools who do want to. There's no chance for a school like LSU that doesn't even try.

Fitting that the game comes down to inbounding the ball for a chance to tie and we can't even get a shot off. Should have just thrown it to the backcourt like usual and heave up a shot 60 ft from the basket.

Well LSU needs to battle to get into the NIT. Auburn played well, but that was their first road win. This was arguably LSUs easiest remaining game. Is this team better than last years LSU team?

This program =

It's hilarious to hear people get excited all the while knowing it will end in disappointment. I'm not even holding my breath next year. Yall need to open your eyes.

... Would have probably had a better chance of going in than the inbounds pass....

Blew the fricking game.

They blew it way before that inbounds. We manage to play down to everyone we play. It is mind blowing how many facets of the game this team is horrible at. Can't beat the zone, can't inbounds, can't knockdow free throws when at matters, can't foul the 46% free throw shooter, etc. It's like between games they just sit around and play Mario kart.

My observation of LSU...

No inbounds strategy, no philosophy for penetrating a defense, average offensive rebounding, no baseline instinct = poor coaching.

I want to believe, and wish the LSU program all the best. But, until I see those fundamentals addressed, LSU basketball is only a product of the talent it recruits.

Then we need to recruit top 5 classes every year.

What a heartbreaking loss that was....I'm damn sick over it. At home against Auburn? You have got to win that game

at this melt. Remember Kentucky last year? And they had more talent then too lol.

We have a couple of the pieces, but no reserves have stepped up, and this is a new group. People's expectations of this team has been way too high. We have a better record that most teams.

The SEC is a terrible league. LSU is at least the third most talented team. Jones is just not a good bench coach. By year three he should be able to make the tourney. Can't believe the former duke AD is letting this happen.

If we can't win these games against lower sec teams at home, not sure what to think about the rest of our schedule.

I love how we kept the full court press even after they beat us down the court three times in a row. Coaching right there.

This....15 turnovers again. Every SEC game this many turnovers, no seeming improvement or progress.

Defense, has shown signs here and there that they might understand team defense, but the last two games against teams who have struggled all year to score points, they light it up on us. No progress there either, regression. It wasn't the size of the guards last year, it is systemic and it's accountability.
