Arden Key was in the backfield all night and was very disruptive. Was his best and most complete game in his career so far. He was strong vs the run and pass. TAMU struggled to block him late in the game.

Guice had the play of the game when we needed it the most with a great TD run. Also had 1 of the best kickoff returns that you'll ever see and brought energy to the team. Brought a huge spark to our offense and we sorely needed it.

Donte Jackson had a fumble recovery on kickoff coverage and had a fantastic INT late in the game. Kevin Toliver got beat deep on a great throw and catch early on, but came back and broke up a TD pass that same drive.

Maea Teuhema helped open up some holes for our running game. Had 244yards rushing tonight. And Mouton even had a couple of nice blocks tonight as well.

Freshman class has showed up big all year, but they were huge tonight for us and had some game changing plays when we needed it the most.

And I'm sure I missed another freshman making plays for us out there, so add them if I did.

But been very impressed with this freshman class.

Yeah he was...

But he had some nice blocks that helped spring our RBs for some more yards

Yep...

And I'm pretty sure that Moreau was out there a decent bit at TE.

He needs to maintain his composure.

I kind of have Guice as the player of the game - the last drive was mostly LF7, so, it's hard to go against the superstar. Guice was outstanding.

Shocking it didn't happen on a big return, but this was Donte Jackson's "coming out" game. 2 takeways - he's like a lightning quick Badger.

Mouton

His best game.

While I do want guys to have composure, but that unsportsmanlike conduct penalty on him was bullshite.

All of these guys are gonna be big time, not just Key and Donte

I do think that Key might be the best out of this entire class though. He's a rare talent. But all of them are gonna be big time for us.

Yea Donte came up big for us.

Still a little worried about his physicality and how he still is very raw at CB, but there's no denying how talented the kid is. And will only get better and better.

His mentality seems plenty physical- IIRC, he put a pretty big hit on their big RB tonight. I just think his body needs to catch up strength-wise.

Boy, DJ/KT2 is going to be a fun corner duo for the next few years.

Not sure... Wasn't even aware that he got banged up. Hope it's not too bad.

He had the block on the edge that sprung Guice on his long TD run.

Yea Moreau has been a nice player for us. Is 1 of the few freshman that consistently see PT and was an after thought in they recruiting class. A nice find.
