So since I don't follow closely, am curious where do you think we are at present as far as the status of the program. Have we peaked or do you think WW can get this program to the final four and possibly to play and win a title?

Or do we need to look elsewhere and bring in another coach if you feel WW has peaked?

Will Wade is the only coach for LSU.
Nobody could do what he's doing here within the reality of anybody we could land.

Considering how embattled wade has been starting in spring of 2019 until now, and how handcuffed hes been, i think he hasnt tapped his potential here.

The comment about Javonte on wiretap will fade, and i think over the next 2 years wade will get back to being wade.

Check back in 2 years from today and i think lsu is in the midst of a deep run.

Just my 2 cents, well all ultimately see how it plays out.

WW has elevated LSU to a consistent contender, for SEC titles and NCAA TY appearances. WE may have a down year, but most years we'll be top 4 in the SEC and make an NCAA TY appearance. We could make a FF appearance if we can get the right kids and they jel (like 2006).

Nah...

I think Will Wade is doing great. He's recruiting well and putting together fun, competitive teams to root for.

He will improve and grow as a coach. He's 38 years old, right?

Yup the winningest (since being hired at LSU) and youngest coach in the SEC has peeked.

has won more SEC games than anyone during his time here and has LSU playing post season basketball every year.

Some want him gone

LSU fanbase is full of mouth breathers

I said with the caveat if you feel WW has peaked. If you don't then obviously you don't think we need to look elsewhere.

again it was a question not a statement. I should have ended it with a question mark.

So since I don't follow closely,

Might as well just stay away from basketball threads and not offer your opinion on the subject.

Didn't say I wanted him gone. I am asking for opinions since I don't follow closely.

Despite what the clown gatekeepers try to make you believe, there is no one here that is an expert.

Our program is in great shape overall, however, we are losing all of our scoring potential and Wade will have to replace that in the transfer portal most likely. I also think he needs to add some pieces to his staff that specialize in certain areas of the game.

Idk I think we are starting a good run with Wade. He definitely needs to get some improvement from his bench coaching... especially on defense.

I think it took way longer than expected for this team to hit its groove, part of that is because of covid imo, but sometimes that just happens. The last 5/6 games were a lot of fun to watch.

But if we can just get some scoring on next years team, whether that is from transfers, returning guys, or incoming freshman we could be in for another solid year.

What nobody discusses tbh is the number of high level assistants he has lost. Each of the past two years he lost an important piece. Even if the replacements are good young coaches as well, it takes time.

If anybody is even suggesting that Wade should not be the coach at LSU for any reasons other than the NCAA dropping a hammer on them because of his recruiting violations, then you don't have half a brain.

Will Wade has us going in the right direction, and you can go back to not following LSU basketball

Wade is a stud.

Wade had a bad class a couple of years ago. Manning left, Bishop left, DeShawn Thomas was bad, it was only Watford. Therefore we had no experience and little quality depth.

I think next season will be the best "complete" team, but I'm a little worried about the scoring without getting a couple of transfers. I think we are in a terrific position though, and if some of our players continue to work and view their progress as long term, in 2-3 years we are going to be a major major factor.

I just want a consistent program considering where this program was when he was hired and he's done that.
Stacking NCAA tourney appearances is what you have to do and then you put yourself in position to make a run and improve your seedings.
