Sorry, but with the influx of talent about to hit Tigertown I can't help but project/dream about this a little.

-Jeremy Hill is conspicuously absent from projected guys announcing their intentions to enter the draft, could it be LSU packs a 1-2 punch of him and Fournette next year at RB.

-The WR position will be stacked despite losing 2 guys in the draft. Between the guys already on the team who were overshadowed, two or three of the incoming freshman appear ready to play day 1. Our depth at that position should be phenomenal.

Plenty of other positions to discuss, but just start with these two.

Let the guy have is fun. That would be extremely awesome to have both those guys on the field at the same time.

Hill is gone

If by depth at WR you mean we have 10 or so guys on the roster, sure.
Dural has the most experience of the group and has barely played. The freshmen will take their lumps, don't be surprised if one redshirts

I say look out for: Dural, Diarse, Leslie, Quinn, Noil
Hopefully Spears, Malachi, Peterson look good too. Theres also Upchurch and Chark

Jeez, logic says Hill is gone but why isn't he listed with the others in draft projections?

RB's don't have the NFL value they once did...

Is it really that crazy a notion he comes back?

If would be dumb for him to come back.

No smartass, I meant top quality young talent already here, and 3 incoming studs assuming Noil plays WR.

WR is one of those spots freshman can come in and make an immediate impact.

And why is that in your opinion?

Is this year better than next to come out as a RB?

-OL&TE Not as excited about this as the skill positions obviously. imo OL has held us back from a few more natty's, It would seem Les being one himself back in the day hasn't helped get more quality guys here. I'd really like to see LSU put a more concentrated effort into this area by maybe expanding the range of their recruiting searches. Their is no excuse for LSU to have only 1 or 2 ex OL guys on NFL rosters which is currently the case. Especially for a program known for 'power football'.

If I was Hill I would look at it like this
A) Good chance I will lose a lot of carries to LF
B) This years RB class isn't spectacular
C) Why chance injury?

No real harm there, matter of fact the 'lead' back seems to be a thing of the past in many cases. It's become RB by committee in both the college and pro game with a few exceptions like AD with tVikings. If anything, sharing carries with LF, like he did this year with LSU's other backs, is a plus projecting ahead to tNFL. Less hits, less wear and tear.

Again, RB's have lost a ton of value in tNFL recently. Don't see that as a viable reason.

I'm old school, you're more likely to be injured if you're worried about getting injured, Play the game.

Another positive for Hill returning is to further distance himself from that mess he was in.

tNFL seems to be clamping down on 'questionable character' players. Hill comes out this year and maybe half tNFL franchises even give him a shot.

Another year of clean living and high production would do wonders for his future draft stock.

That's the biggest reason I would see for him staying. The best way he can help his stock is by building up his character.

How about zero hits? That's how many he'll get in college if he leaves now. Staying would be the height of stupidity unless he simply wants to stay.

For some reason, people have a tendency to forget about Magee. He and Fournette will carry the team at RB next season. Hilliard might return, and even Blue could be back.

But if I had to guess right now, the 2014 depth chart at RB will be 1)Magee 2) Fournette 3) Hilliard.

That's a Pretty good trio.
