I don’t understand why Game 2 had to be finished. Up 6-2 bottom 8, why was that game not called final due to rain? Then play FULL 9 innings as scheduled for Game 3.

The rule is dumb on its face. The suspended game should be restarted at 10 am. If you are able to start the regularly scheduled game within 30 minutes of its normal time, it should be 9 innings.
It’s an easy workaround and doesn’t kill you on travel.

Definitely not LSU's day offensively
Both teams pitchers were mowing batters down all day, I kinda doubt the score would be any different, maybe it could been but both teams were shut down offensively
Sometimes you tip your hat to the other team, both teams freshman pitchers were phenomenal
But we will need to be better offensively moving forward
