WRs didn't cost the game
Daniels didn't cost us the game

The game was lost by the inability to stop anyone. The entire second half, FSU did whatever they wanted.

redzone playcalling wasn't good, either

Looks like we need a QB who’s not afraid to throw past 5 yards so we can keep up with teams since our defense sucks.

As Kelly said, it was a failure on all levels. I'm confident in this program's ability to correct itself moving forward. I just can't figure out why it wasn't corrected in the off-season.

Agree. Though the WRs didn't even slightly impress me and JD looked like the same JD from last year (and I like JD). Offensive chemistry looked like shite along with special teams returns. Those things contributed to the loss, but the 2nd half D was the ultimate failure.

The fact is we had maybe two guys on the team who had decent days with Wingo being by and away the best player. Everyone else struggled.

Did we even make a first down between their scores.
The defense was worn out and we could muster a drive to give them some rest.

While offense did not cost the game, being shut-off the second half outside the garbage time won't win any game.

That would require receivers who can actually catch the football.

They just sucked, but I blame the dumb scheme more. They should have been well-rested from the 1st half when LSU's offense was marching up and down the field and had almost 300 yards of offense.

Also, credit to FSU's QB and WRs who made some great throws/catches even when we had good coverage.

They did, both sides did.

Why do a 1 aude but not the other when both were equally dominated?

Defense gave up 45

Offense scored 17 before garbage time

It's nonsense to think 1 side of the ball shouldn't get blame.

And our offense tad 56 yards in our 6 drives before the garbage time play, but that's not an issue?

Well, the offense sure didn’t help the D with 4 straight drives of
6 plays, punt (2:52)
6 plays, int (2:52)
3 plays, punt (2:17)
7 plays, downs (2:13)
— For an avg of 2:33 drive

The D was bad, and the O did zero to assist

Lack of half time adjustments vs theirs by both coordinators is what cost us the game. More so than leaving those first quarter points on the board by a large margin tbh

I think QB, WR, and DL are ok.

OL was a huge disappointment
DBs were as bad as I’ve ever seen sans Brooks.

When an offense can’t sustain drives and has a poor 3rd and 4th down percentage, it’s not all on the defense.
