LSU's offense (barring injuries) will dominate every SEC defense this year.

what we are seeing is an unpredictable running game
yea, LSU isn't mixing up the run and pass much, but they are running out of a variety of formations and that can work just as well.
LF7 is punishing tacklers and will require more than 1 defender to commit to stopping him, should open up other opportunities

I agree partially with his statements here, but some not so much. The OL and FB blocking on the season have been excellent when it comes to run blocking, but he is ignoring much of Fournette's vision and quickness/agility that are keys to his big play ability.
Contact is only part of the equation. Barry Sanders, for example, likely had a good ypc before contact as well, but everyone and their mother knew it wasn't because his OL was dominant. They were mediocre. It was because Sanders was so damn shifty and fast that he'd make everyone miss and avoid contact.
Fournette doesn't always avoid contact, but ignoring his subtle shifts and his acceleration do nothing but minimize just how great a RB he is. The guy has the power of an Earl Campbell and shiftiness to make people miss along with speed to leave them in the dust.
That all said, LSU's OL is great, and they allow him to get to top speed unimpeded in the backfield and open up holes for him to go through. It will be a fun year, especially if/when the passing game starts clicking.

imo, his most impressive run, was on that 1st and 16 when it looked like he was going to be dropped for a loss...then made a few moves, got to the outside, cut upfield and gained 20 yards before about 6 auburn guys jumped on him and he went out of bounds...still standing up

I honestly feel sorry for #19 on this run. LF just throws him off like he is nothing.

If you watch the replay, he did go down to a knee at the end and then stood back up. Honestly, squatting half the Auburn defense is even more impressive than not going down.
