Thanks for your classy post...I agree with just about everything you are talking about. Bama clearly was the better team on Monday.I just don't know what happened to our energy and purpose...even though we were totally stuck on offense there was time to get back in the game at the point of JJ's shuttle pass if we had brought Lee in and tried something new.

Something with Sheppard and Miles. Has anyone heard of anything like this? I know it stings right now, but you guys had a great season even though it ended badly. But for the 2012 season you will be picked to win it all and hopefully on November 3rd it will be a Night of two great SEC teams in Death Valley, and not this shell of a team on Monday Night, that was not the LSU team I had been watching all year. I am not sure about the talk of team mutiny that many have posted but it was apparent that playing a team like Bama a 2nd time was destined for Bama. That being said, Bama just took the game. LSU may have helped them but Bama wins the game EVEN without LSU's assistance. Nice post.

thanks, man....the manner in which we lost is easily the most humiliating loss that I have experienced in the nearly 4 decades that I have been following LSU football...this one is gonna be tough to get over...

Just want to echo what my fellow Bama fan said. Our two programs are the measuring stick for the ENTIRE COUNTRY, not just our own conference.

If there is any truth to lsufan54's post then I am sure T Bob would have told this to Bobby and with all the heat Bobby is getting over the after game interview wouldn't he have gone public or is it a case of Bobby and/or WWL being pressured by LSU to keep it covered up.
Maybe once the seniors are out of school someone will say something.

On the radio in Houston this morning, Bobby Hebert said the incident in the locker room happened, but is being blown out of proportion
But there was definetly harsh words exchanged by unknown players

It hurts real bad because we were so much better than what we showed Monday night.
It is so hard to get to the BCS Title game, and we were #1 since whipping West Virginia.
#1 from Wire to Wire in the BCS until Monday night's flop.
In time, we'll be fine. Miles is a really good coach and a damn strong recruiter.

If this is true ... it explains Bobby Hebert's lunatic behavior. I also believe you cannot have players dictating to the coach what he has to do ... Hope you are wrong but suspect there is a lot of truth in it.
