Do you geniuses even think that maybe the sacks are the O-Lines fault and not Jefferson? Everyone says that the O-Line is bad but after JJ gets sacked a few times, he sucks and should be benched. I don't understand you guys logic.

I'd put in Chris Garrett before Lee!I want to know, where in the hell was the wild tiger last night! And going with a lone tailback doesn't work anymore. Put in the Fullbacks we get more yards because our O-line can't open holes enough for scott or williams.Jefferson is still doing fine just some rookie mistakes that can be fixed. He still needs alot of work.I think they needed to open the playbook all the way! Crowton isn't trying to mix it up at all.Thats just my Opinion! Bitch On!

So because he threw pick sixes his freshman year that means he can't play ever again? What kind of retarded logic is that? Why not see if Lee has improved? It has been a year and it's not like Jefferson is playing well enough to keep him on the bench.

To the idiot who said he couldn't beat out Hatch: Do you realize he was a freshmen last year?

JJJ didn't play well last night we all know it but he shouldn't get benched for it

im not saying he should be benched, i would personally like to see lee for a series.. this could help jj get his mind straight and get another look at the game from the sideline, i mean it couldnt really hurt. if we are only scoring on 1 drive why not bring in someone else for 1 series to maybe add a spark or just change things up, apparently what we are doing is not working at all

when? besides the 4th quarter at UGA when has JJ played well? He's been a mediocre game manager at best(Wash, MSU) and completely inept at worst(FLA, 3/4s of UGA, Vandy).

It's ridiculous. Were any of you AT the game? Did any of you see how many times Tolliver was open, and JJ still neglected to pass? He's playing scared... so damn scared... anyone who thinks that's doing a "great job" is severely misguided. But as for Jarrett Lee, JJ would have to start doing some serious damage for us to bring him back on board. JJ doesn't play smart or experienced but I'd still rather see him play against the rest of the SEC than Jarrett frickin' Lee.

JJ shouldn't be benched but why can't Miles see that he needs to makes some changes on Offense?

Let Lee handle a series a half in games when JJ struggles, at least to start off. If JJ starts well then let him keep playing, but give Lee a shot. If Lee comes in and shows maturity from last year give him slowly more and more touches.

Miles and the coaching staff are mostly to blame for Lee's failures last year. They did not prepare him to read coverages, most likely because he was supposed to be the 3rd stringer until the QB prima-donna decided he was better than the team and was asked to leave. The rest of the offense, namely WR, were also partly to blame as I have never seen less effort on tackling after an interception as I saw in the Georgia and Alabama games. Finally, we have heard over and over that JJ has an arm but have yet to really ever see it.

Trailing by 10 with 7 min you have to go downfield, why not let Lee who has definitely shown to have the stronger arm come in and take some shots downfield instead of runs and short dump offs?

Russel Shepard should play in every game, unless he is injured. They wasted his redshirt, so play the kid. Teams have known he would run when in and he still has an amazing yd/carry. He could also run the option which JJ nor Lee seems capable of running proficiently. Shepard should also be able to run the option pass as well, which worked well the few times they ran it with RP in 2007.

Now to JJ, most of his sacks are 100% his fault, the line has been terrible but last night his sacks were coverage sacks with plenty of time to run or get rid of the ball. As a QB you cannot hold on to the ball as long as JJ has nor have ZERO pocket presence (JJ seems to step into defenders meaning he doesn't understand how to properly move in and out the pocket, and JJ needs to have a clock in his head that after so long if he has no open receiver he must A throw it away or B take off and run, not hold on and take sacks). The 4th down play near the end of the game epitomizes the problem JJ seems to have in knowing when to get rid of the ball. On that play he had zero chance to get the first on his own so he has to learn that he has to throw the ball down field and hope to complete it or have the defender dumb enough to intercept and end up with basically a punt. Instead he kept it, doesn't get the first, and actually lost yardage in turning it over on downs. Lee made similar bonehead mistakes last year throwing the ball away out of bound on 4th down.

Noooo, he was a RS FR last year who had been in the program long enough to show what he had. Lee had his chance and had more chances in spring and fall practice. He didn't earn the starting job and since Jefferson has done nothing to lose the job, Lee should stay on the bench where he belongs.
