I'm Rewatching the game now. He doesn't even look like he should be playing, much less starting. RG blowing him up continuously.

That is because they can't sleep when LSU wins.

I changed his nickname from Freak to balloon he always gets blown up.

His play this year has been disappoint
I'm glad others are starting to notice this. I was harshly criticized on this board after each of the first three games of the season when I'd bring up Freak's poor play and over-hypedness.

But this is a bad time to rag on the man. I truly hope he's not seriously injured and is ready to play next week. Even though he hasn't played up to his hype, he's still an integral and irreplaceable part of our defense.

People are stuck in this role thinking and believing he is an all American because of his 5 star status and preseason all American. He hasn't lived up to the hype and isn't getting double teamed all game. Y'all will ride that excuse till the day he leave. With that said he is a decent player and great human being.

right now freak is not playing anywhere near Brockers or Logan or Lavalais or Kyle Williams, or Claude Wroten or Booger Mcfarland quality ball for that matter at the DT spot. They are not maintaining gap responsibilty. Auburn gashed us up the middle. This better get fixed and these LB's had best fill the hole also and make tackles.

If not Gurley and Murray's PA passing game could light us up.

We have one week to get it fixed.

He is important to have on the dline for Georgia, but he is certainly overhyped. The expectations people have for him are unattainable though. Just play ball.

Me too. Watched him almost exclusively. Has a bad habit of turning his back also, did it at least 5x, completely lost sight of the play. Chavis will bring him along.

It's sad that people defend les miles for not putting Auburn away in the first half and keeping Freak in there til late in the 4th, risking his injury.

It looks like they're still trying to figure out if he played in the first 3 games.

So besides all this negativity about freak does anyone really know the status of his injury?

Reading b/w the lines from practice reports over the past few seasons, it has been a work in progress. Not sure there's much room for improvement, but maybe it'll be enough.

He was not double teamed all night, and he did not have a good game. I have great respect for him as a person, but he is not a dominant player at this time.
