Would anyone feel confident in his ability to head coach? Regarded as one of the best recruiters in college and has developed plenty of NFL running backs. Every head coach has to get their start somewhere.

Really? You would be happy with the 113th ranked passing offense and 76th ranked scoring offense like this year? VANDY has a higher ranked passing offense than us. Every team in the SEC but Vandy has a better scoring offense.
And if you say that he is not really in charge of calling the plays, what is it that we're supposed to be confident with him doing? How is our QB development so far?

The guy has ton of head coaching experience in college and the NFL, I would trust him to handle LSU.
