Fournette: Week 1 Carries Video

Found a video of Leonard's touches week 1 vs the Texans. He's still stronger and faster than 90% of the other guys on the field. When watching remember that the Texans have arguably the best defense in the league. JJ Watt, Jadeveon Clowney, Whitney Mercilus and Benardrick McKinney are all legit All Pro level players in the front 7. If Leonard can develop a little more patience and find some cut back lanes then he will be unstoppable.
I already miss seeing him in purple and gold.

So Les is the O coordinator?

No, Leonard caught the ball, they ran out of different sets and Bortles had 21 attempts, and Leonard only received 2/3 of the carries. All because the ran some power I doesn't mean it's a les miles offense.

It's very obvious he's the best athlete on the field. He really punishes the defense. But the runs where he should be taking it for the distance, they're still tripping up by the ankles. Does it seem like they're going for his ankles to anybody else?

Only a matter of time before he starts popping off some huge runs! I hope he has a shot at winning rookie of the year just to piss off the haters!

He absolutely does. Again- Texans have one of the best defenses in the league. You could make a very reasonable argument that they have THE best D in the league. Leonard gets to play the Colts and Titans twice. Not to mention the Rams, Browns and Jets. He's gonna easily go over 1000 yards if he stays healthy.
I'm gonna sit down and watch that Jets Jags game. Gonna be weird seeing Jamal and Leonard meet.

Me too! It will be a tough feat though with the way a lot of rookies looked week one. Dalvin Cook had a big game. Kenny Golladay for the Lions looked like a star in the making. Cooper Kupp looked like he is a big part of the Rams plan. Christian McCaffery got a lot of work. However, they are all trailing Kareem Hunt who looked like a true stud.
