Has there ever been a better potential year for one of the top athletes in the country in each sport at the same school?

Next year will not be the year for LSU baseball. Big turnover with the position players.

McDonald was gone to the pros before Shaq. played here in the fall of '89. Using '88-89 season you could say, McDonald, Chris Jackson and Hodson, three future pros who were great College stars. You could even use Harvey Williams for football since he, Jackson and McDonald were all first round guys. Hodson was an early 3rd round pick as I recall.

Maybe Auburn - Bo Jackson (Baseball/Football) and Charles Barkley (Basketball)?
Should be an exciting year for all LSU sports.
