The fact that TM7 didn't win the Heisman in 2011 should've given you a big clue as to how dumb this award has become. LF7 finishing 6th should be the icing on the cake.

It's very surprising. He led the country in rushing yards per game while playing with the 109th ranked passing offense.

I think the Heisman voters tend to focus on stats, big game performances, and team success rather than how shitty a player's offense is.

And I believe LF is one of the very best in the country, but 31, 91, and 108 in three terrible losses killed his chances.

He lost it in the Alabama game. The truth is that the special players step up in these games and LF got shut down embarrassingly. Not saying it was his fault but because of bad OL play and offensive play calling, he wasn't the same after that.

His should have been on a mission at Arkansas and Ole Miss. When the spotlight was the brightest he didn't produce. Again, not saying it is all his fault but I can guarantee that is what the voters took into consideration.

I guess they did not take into consideration what LF was doing in all other games when the entire planet knew he was getting the ball.

The early front runner never wins. One stumble and it's over.

The play caling stayed the same and the competition was got harder as the season progressed. I'm not surprised either.

Lol, the play calling was not the same. Just look at how many pass attempts vs rush attempts in the Arky and ole Miss games. LSUs first 21 plays against Arky were out of the shotgun. They didn't line up in the I until LF scored on the goaline.

We were getting beat and we had to throw from being behind. We we did run him there was no creativity. Play calling staying the same not meaning the same plays being called.

The only reason Henry out gained LF is because of carries. LF led the country in rushing yards per game and led the sec in ypc.
If LF had gotten the amount of carries Henry had, he wouldve obliterated the sec rushing record.

With all the new QB's in the SEC next year, LSU has no excuse for not winning the SEC West. Everyone is losing talent, LSU is returning a lot of talent.

Next year should be a 2011 type season. If QB play doesn't improve and LSU loses 3 or more, I fully expect changes to be followed through this time.
