Leonard Fournette is the first player with a 75+ yard TD run on consecutive carries in a single season in NFL history.

Per ESPN. Last carry of week 5 was a 90 yard TD, first carry week 6 a 75 yard TD. Random stat but pretty cool that he made history in each of the last two games. Too bad they don't have a better QB.

Dude, did you watch him his Soph year? He looked like the fastest guy on the field at all times.

2015 puts him in the top 5 of SEC RBs all-time. He was insane.

Holy crap! The way he froze that safety then ran right by him was unbelievable! The corner just gave up after about 25-30 yards, because he realized Leonard was just pulling away.

Their only hope at that point was sniper fire, a rabid pit bull loose on the field or lightning strike.

That man is faster than fast.

LF is rapidly advancing.

A buddy of mine, who likes LSU insisted Fournette would not make a good NFL running back and that Ezekiel Elliott was better.

But,but there were ranter who said he'd be a bust in the NFL. That the NFL was Bama times 10. That Guice was much better. Anyone remember who those raving fools were?

There are things guice does better than fournette. Like avoiding the dlineman around the line of scrimmage. But fournette is like Bo jackson once he gets running full speed and only has defensive backs in front of him. Fournette looks like an all pro as a rookie so far considering what team he plays on.

He looks like an all pro no matter what team he plays for. Could you imagine if he had a good QB? Can the guy just get a good QB for once? He's been playing against stacked boxes his entire football life.

Eta: I didn't mean to act like you were being critical.

"Like avoiding lineman around the line of scrimmage."

Have you watched LSU this year? Must not have to make that statement."

FWIW Webster ran a 4.35 40. Fournette made him look slow as shite

forty times don't necessarily measure top end speed. I'd put Fournette's top end speed up with anyone in the NFL. He's also doing it at 225-230. That's not even fair

Did he get hurt? I only saw a snippet on a halftime break of one of the NFL games but he was limping.

Any info on that?

They said he could have gone back in the game but decided not to because it wasn't worth it at that point in the game. It looked awkward on tape but apparently he just rolled his ankle slightly. He said he was fine after the game and so did his coach.

He tweaked his ankle but he should be back for the Colts game next week. Probably will not practice this week. I think that is a good thing. Hell I think he practiced a few weeks the whole training camp.

That update was about 2 hours ago. Head coach said he could have gone back in but why when we know we got a shitty arse qb that can't throw the ball more than 10 yards down the field. Poor LF
